This past weekend’s fishing was definitely affected by what is now called TS Irma, who is finally moving out of our area. She brought with her some high winds and quite a bit of rain which kept us off the ocean. We gave the crews the choice of not fishing or staying in the river and inshore areas to chase after some bull reds and they chose to fish. The redfish fishery we have in Northeast Florida is pretty spectacular. It’s really one of the best in the country, especially between now and the end of October. If the weather won’t let us offshore, we still have options to catch fish!
