We threaded a weather window this past Saturday, December 17th, and made it offshore to run a few trips. The ocean was nice and the fishing was phenomenal. We were bottom fishing in the Reaper, our 37ft Cape Horn with triple Yamaha 300s. The vermilion snapper almost chewed a hole in the bottom of the boat. After we caught our boat limit of vermilion, we changed over to Black Sea Bass mode. We ended up with 17 nice Black Sea Bass before it was over along with several red snapper up to 12lbs, and we even caught a legal gag grouper. The second group picture was on the Drop Plan with Capt. Bill. All 4 boats had a great time fishing on Saturday, and we thank all our great customers, who spent the day with us! Grouper Season closes Jan 1st, so book a trip while we can still keep them. The 12hr trip is your best shot at a nice grouper, along with mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, triggers, and many others!
