Since Red Snapper remains closed in the Atlantic Ocean we target other species that are better to eat and more fun to fight than the genuine American Red Snapper. We’ve done without the red snapper for the past 16 years so it’s not new territory for us. on our 12hr trips, we have a wide variey of fish to chase to include the stronger and better tasting cousin of the red snapper, the MUTTON SNAPPER!! We also have VERMILION SNAPPER, SILK SNAPPER, MANGROVE SNAPPER, BLACKFIN SNAPPER, TRIGGERFISH, PORGY, AMBERJACK, GAG GROUPER, SCAMP GROUPER, and a whole list of other fish that are great for the table.
