On Jan 1, 2023, the forecast was beautiful and the Cape Horn was available, so we opened a “split trip”. A “split trip” is where we basically turn a private charter boat into a 6 person head boat, where individuals can pay just for themselves without having to pay for the whole boat. On Jan 1, Capt. Anthony and I ran the first 12hr Split of 2023 and we brought the year in the way we should, with a box full of fish! We had Mr. Kenny Thompson, whos has been trying to go for quite some time now and some other great people who are already friends, and the others, who have now become friends.
