Its a great time to fish in North Florida right now. Both inshore and offshore are as hot as it gets to bend a rod right now. Offshore, the wahoo are beginning to show up, not in good numbers yet, but a few here and there. The bottom fishing offshore from 45-65 miles is producing good numbers of vermilion, triggers, red porgy, amberjack, and a few grouper. Closer inshore, red snapper are still prevalent, with a few black sea bass, cobia, vermilion snapper, a few triggers, ringtail porgies, and a straggler grouper. Inshore has been producing good numbers of sheepshead, some black drum, redfish, ringtail porgies, and trout. There’s a lot of great things to do right now, regardless of weather conditions!
