The bottom fishing has been really good on the days we can get out! Black Sea Bass, Triggerfish, Cobia, vermilion snapper, sheepshead, etc... have all come home with us lately. Capt. Joe even had a 53lb cobia on a recent 10hr charter (see photo of the week) on home page. Red snapper are next level so you stay very busy catching fish! The Black Sea Bass have started to show up and will keep getting better through April. We have been seeing more grouper inside 15 miles which is nice to see. This time of year we really focus on bottom fishing on all the trips and the further out you go, the better the fishing is for keepers. What a great day we had on Saturday. The bottom fishing was great with vermilion snapper, mutton snapper, mangrove snapper up to 12lbs, almaco jacks, amberjack, and nurse sharks. The trash talking was at an all time high and I loved every minute of it! These guys were a lot of fun and I look forward to them coming back!      

Today we had some amazing variety. We had yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper, mangrove snapper, vermilion snapper, african pompano, almaco jacks, and graysby grouper! Had a fun crew from Ocala, Jason Elliot and his crew from Jason Elliot's Flooring in Ocala Florida. These guys are great and after spending 10hrs with them on the water, I'd hire them in a heartbeat.
