I was excited about the 5-10 NE forecast today; I had great plans of stretching it out to about 25 miles, but as usual whatever the forecast is regarding an "N" go ahead and add AT LEAST 5 knots of wind to it. A lot of times people ask me, "where are we fishing?". My answer is usually, "wherever the ocean let's us fish". Today that stood true. My 25 mile plan was changed to 15 miles because of a stiff NE wind and 3-5 ft seas. We hit spot after spot and literally caught fish all day. These boys were relentless. We limited out on black sea bass and threw back several more that were big enough to keep. We also caught a few nice beeliners, ring tail porgies, a couple triggerfish, and threw back some red snapper. It stayed pretty rough all day but the crew had high spirits and bent rods!!
