Friday, May 25, 2012 - Billy, Luke, Jason, Richard, Earl, and Chris Back
Seas: 1-2    Water Temp: 81°F Crew: Billy, Luke, Jason, Richard, Earl, and Chris
Moon:     Location:
Species: 1 Dolphin
1 Flounder
5 King Mackerel
25 Sea Bass
300 White Grunts
With Tropical Storm Beryl building winds and waves on the east coast, we went fishing on the West coast today. I haven't been there in at least a year so it was a ice break. Seas were 2 feet with a decent breeze to keep the heat off of you ...a little, and the fish were about jumping in the boat. We had over 300 white grunts, 5 kingfish, a dolphin, a couple red grouper (several throwbacks), a few bonita, and a big bull shark that popped the leader at the boat. Left the house at 5am and walked back in at 9pm. Long day!

The captain was very professional. Within an hour he had learned our names. He really went out of his way to make sure you had a good time and that you caught plenty of fish. This was my 11 year old son Luke first deep sea fishing trip and the captain really went out of his way to teach him about baiting and removing the fish and about the fish in general. Luke had the best time and can't wait to go again. I've been on other deep sea tours and this one was the best. Highly recommend to anyone!!  Posted by: Billy

Thanks for the kind words Billy. I really enjoyed fishing with you guys and watching Luke catch all those fish. He's a great kid and didn't mind baiting his own hook and taking the fish off the hook. I'm glad he got his second chance on that kingfish, The picture of him with the kingfish was priceless. Tell him I said great job!   Posted by: Capt. Chad
