The ocean was beautiful for a change. We loaded up on bait and went out 25 miles. We anchored up and immediately a cobia swam by the boat. I tossed it a jig and it gobbled it up. Se the hook and fought for about a minute and the hook pulls. We moved and had some great scenery with some feeding amberjacks. They were right by the boat striking at our baits. We landed 2 up to about 40lbs and lost a few more. We also caught a 23lb red snapper, some amberines, a big nurse shark, short grouper, big sea bass, a few ringtail porgies, and finished the day with a nice sized dolphin. We had a great crew, great sea conditions, and the fish bit pretty well.
