The weather forecast wasn't that great today, calling for 3-5 foot seas. With the past couple days and the wind forecast, i didn't believe it so off we went. We started by filling the live well with pogies and heading out to 100 feet. We bottom fished most of the day, fell 2 beeliners short of our limit, several limits of nice black sea bass, some nice red snapper, monster scamp grouper (20lbs), nice gag grouper, a few amberjack, some triggerfish, and a 30lb cobia. We had a great crew, great sea conditions, and a great box of fish!! At 1 time today, we had 7 cobia swim by the boat at the same time. I'd say it's time to go cobia fishing!!!
